Public Health Annual Reports
The Director of Public Health in Milton Keynes publishes his annual report each year This report provides a broad overview of health in Milton Keynes and in many cases it compares the state of health in Milton Keynes to that of England as a whole as well as to the South East of England and the rest of Buckinghamshire. It seeks to set out recommendations for action to improve health and tackle inequalities in health. These reports can be viewed in the links below:
The Office for National Statistics provide information on Life Expectancy a district level and MKC provide life expectancy figures at ward level based on these.

Child Health Profiles
This profile provides a snapshot of child health in this area. It includes information on a range of child health issues including hospital admissions, immunisation, obesity, and teenage conceptions. It was produced by Child and Maternal Health Observatory (ChiMat) working with South East Public Health Observatory (SEPHO). The Drug Treatment Monitoring Unit (DTMU) have published the 2010/11 South East Drug & Alcohol Action Team (DAAT) profile reports. The DAAT profiles are two-page reports for each of the 19 DAAT areas in the South East, including Milton Keynes. There are two reports for each DAAT area, a young persons report and a report on adults in drug treatment. These results are compilation of data collected from a sample of secondary pupils in Milton Keynes during Summer 2011. This work was commissioned by Public Health NHS Milton Keynes to collect reliable information about young people’s lifestyles. This survey follows studies completed in 2005, 2007 and 2009. Dr Foster Data
Dr Foster Limited was commissioned by MK Primary Care Trust to provide data to identify those most at risk of being admitted to hospital for various health conditions. It links socio-economic and lifestyle data from multiple sources with data on the incidence and prevalence of illnesses including Hospital Episode Statistics (HES).
